- Handle camera with care, ensure the neck strap is round your neck
- Ensure neck strap securely attached to the camera.
- Before you take photos make sure you are not blocking other people from getting past or become a tripping hazard.
- Do not run with the camera.
- If you are taking a photo of a person ask their permission and check they do not have photosensitive epilepsy.
- Take care when changing the camera lens, do not force anything, ask a teacher if you cannot remove it easily.
- Support the camera at all times
- Take sensible measures when taking photos, do not balance precariously on objects, make sure you have a solid stance when taking photos.
- Make sure the camera is off when you take out the memory card, take care when removing it and replacing it, again it should not be forced.
- Keep vigilant for tripping hazard when looking around environment for photo opportunities.
